Pavla is the most efficient person I have come across! Within half an hour of sending my request for an au pair, I received 4 files of candidates, one of which very quickly became our favourite. Having looked on other websites and given up, I was amazed that she had filtered all her candidates to find the best ones to meet our requirements, so I didn't have to go through that difficult process myself. We have talked to Nora by phone and skype and lots of emails, so we feel we know her really well already. We have 5 kids aged from 2yrs - 13yrs so it was no easy task yet Pavla found Eva from Spain who has settled in really well and we are delighted with her. My children are very happy to have someone who interacts with them on their level. Eva's main duties are around childcare, taking the younger children to school and collecting them, she also cooks for them after school and spends a lot of time playing with them indoors and out. Our experience with the agency is of the highest regard and we would not hesitate in recommending them to anyone. After using popular ‘DIY’ Au-pair websites, and dealing with a large volume of unsuitable applicants, WePlaceAuPairs came as a welcome relief! Pavla has placed 3 Au-Pairs with us to date. Pavla took time to talk to us, and understand our requirements, and also understand the Au-Pair too. She then sent us suitable profiles – not just everyone on her books like some agencies do. Pavla responded to our queries quickly and efficiently – at all hours! She made us feel as her only and valued host family, and the standard/experience of Au-Pairs sent were very high. Pavla will also take time to ensure after the placement, that both the family and au-pair are happy, and she introduced my au-pair to others in the area.
Perhaps the greatest test of any company is how they deal with issues when things go wrong. This happened with our second au-pair. Pavla dealt with us and the Au-Pair professionally, promptly and courtesly. Pavla sent us a wonderful replacement au-Pair, who is wonderful and much more suited to our family, and the previous au-pair was offered other families.
I would have no hesitation in recommending WePlaceAuPairs to both host Families and prospective Au-Pairs. I intend to use WePlaceAuPairs for many more years as their customer service is second to none.

I contacted www.weplaceaupairs.co.uk after seeing them recommended on Mumsnet. Pavla was a pleasure to work with. She was helpful and courteous, didn't apply any pressure and was available whenever I got in touch via e-mail or phone. She even returned a call after business hours when I had a concern. She sent me candidate profiles within hours of my application and eventually found us a lovely woman who is exactly what we were looking for. I highly recommend this service. I used a DIY nanny website last time and found it very overwhelming and stressful. I also like that this agency has a two-month trial period. 'As a working family - life was very hectic. So much so, we decided last summer that we needed extra pair of hands (and eyes) in our home.
We needed help quickly, so I contacted many Au Pair agencies to see if anyone could help. It seemed that every agency I tried, the cost was going up and up! Disheartened, I attempted to search the internet and ended up on a website where you could contact au pairs directly, thinking it would save me time and money. We were so wrong! Two months later, and after a lot of messing about, several let downs, and attempts by young people to get money out of us for travel, lack of police checks and references... we had about given up when we finally came across Pavla.
Within 10 minutes of my request, I had the files of 5 thoroughly vetted, policed checked and suitable Au Pairs, all serious about coming to England. We were delighted, and quickly selected a young lady to come to our home. Sadly, our first Au Pair decided to go home early - so I let Pavla know and immediately, she sprung into action and provided other serious candidates. She was there for us, whenever we needed, morning, noon and night. Always positive and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. She really is completely committed to taking care of her customers - Families and Au Pairs alike. I can't recommend her highly enough.
We now have the most amazing young lady with us - who is a god send. We are very happy, and will keep coming back to Pavla. The only thing we havent figured out yet, is why we didnt do this years ago.'

Weplaceaupairs were extremely quick at finding us a suitable au pair. Within an hour of submitting a request, the file of the au pair that we took was sent to me.
They always respond to our questions very promptly and continued to offer advice long after they placed us with an au pair.
Our au pair is extremely honest, responsible and has become part of our family. This was helped by the fact that she is a lovely person, has experience with young children and is fluent in English, all requirements that we asked for and got!

My husband and I have been continuously impressed by the service we have received from this agency. Pavla the manager is such an effective communicator and is always available. She promptly responds be it through telephone and or via e-mail which is so reassuring. This last week has been half term with the children on holiday and so Tereza has had a good opportunity to get to know them without the pressures of the school routine. The children like Tereza very much and are happy in her company. Tereza has settled into driving on the left hand side of the road after one lesson and, with the aid of a ‘tom-tom’ satnav system, she is finding her way locally very well. Tereza is off to see her friends in London soon which she is really looking forward to.

Hi Pavla,
Laura has fitted into our family life with surprising ease and confidence. After a driving lesson on her second day she was able to drop off and pick up my youngest daughter to her childminder and take the girls to their various after school classes. She is polite, friendly and generally very sensitive to the needs of the girls. She has fun with them but also manages to keep them in line if a goal must be achieved. We are very happy with Laura, and thank you for helping us find her.
