 WHO IS A HOUSEKEEPER? - Housekeeper is a person who provides domestic services such as cleaning, laundry, ironing, and sometimes even shopping, cooking. A full-time Housekeeper usually does not have any involvement with children and is mainly responsible for keeping the house clean and tidy.
- Housekeeper can work either part-time or full-time, normally they work 5 days a week, but sometimes even 6 days a week. Housekeepers working 6 days a week, should have one full weekend a month.
- Their pay depence on their experience, age, and working hours. The minimum pay is normaly £100 a week.
- Our Au pair Agency insist that all Housekeepers have to provide a reference from their previous employer and also a character reference.
WHO IS A HOME ASSISTANT? - is a person who provides domestic services such as cleaning, hoovering, dusting, washing up, loading/unloading dishwasher, washing the floors, ironing, washing and sometimes even shopping, cooking
- Home Assistants normally work from 25-35 hours a week and their weekly pay is £70 for 25 hours, £80 for 30 hours or £90 for 35 hours a week. They normally have two full days off a week.
- Home Assistants normally mainly look after the house but they can also look after the children, morning childcare, school runs, afternoon childcare, babysittings.
